Job: Nurse Practitioner

Tully Hill Treatment and Recovery is dedicated to the belief that substance use disorder is a disease – chronic, progressive and above all, treatable.  Established in 1990 Tully Hill is a 50-bed Inpatient Detox, Rehabilitation and Outpatient facility dedicated to providing treatment for substance use disorders.

Tully Hill is accepting applications for Nurse Practitioners. Will ensure high quality health care to patients seeking treatment for substance use disorders in accordance with CARF standards, NYS OASAS regulations and other State and Federal regulations.   Responsible for assessing patients’ health status by eliciting health and medical history; conducting physical examinations; clinical laboratory tests; diagnosing and treating acute illness and physical conditions; and counseling patients to ensure patient understanding of and compliance with therapeutic regimen.   Per Diem.   Flexible hours.   Tuesday – Friday.  Some weekend availability required. Approximately 10-20 hours/ week. 

Team-oriented individual with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and computer skills required.  Valid New York State Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license required.  CPR certification and DATA 2000 Waiver re: treatment with burpenorphine required upon hire.  Demonstrable knowledge of substance use disorders and 12-Step philosophy preferred but not required. Previous experience working in an electronic medical record environment preferred.
